The conference connecting Thanh Hoa businesses with northern provinces and cities will be held in Thanh Hoa city from August 16 to 18.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, currently, relevant units of Thanh Hoa province are actively preparing related work to organize the Conference to connect enterprises (DN) producing, importing, exporting and distributing industrial, handicraft and agricultural products of Thanh Hoa province with provinces and cities in the Northern region in 2024.

Thanh Hoa province has hundreds of industrial, agricultural and handicraft products and is in need of connecting with the consumer market.

The conference was organized according to Plan No. 103/KH-UBND, dated April 24, 2024, to strengthen cooperation, promotion, and connection between enterprises producing, importing, exporting, and distributing industrial products, handicrafts, and agricultural products of Thanh Hoa province with provinces and cities in the Northern region. From there, forming chains linking from production to supply, distribution, and consumption of products and goods.

In 2024, Thanh Hoa province will organize many programs, fairs, exhibition markets, and product introductions to strengthen market connections, promote trade and advertise products.

In addition, the conference also aims to create a direct exchange channel between State management agencies, manufacturing and import-export enterprises with distribution systems and consumers; create conditions for exchange, research, and grasp of market information, improve production capacity, product quality and share experiences in solving problems arising in trade, circulation, and import and export of goods.

The Department of Industry and Trade organizes a space to display and introduce goods at the Food Safety Fair in Tho Xuan district.

Within the framework of the program, in addition to the main conference held on the morning of August 16, the Organizing Committee will open and maintain a space to display and introduce industrial, handicraft and agricultural products of Thanh Hoa province and the northern provinces and cities in 2024, for 3 days, from August 16 to 18.

The conference is an opportunity for enterprises to produce, import, export and distribute industrial, handicraft and agricultural products of Thanh Hoa province with provinces and cities in the Northern region; thereby, forming chains linking from production to supply, distribution and consumption of products and goods.

The exhibition space will have 82 booths of typical industrial, handicraft and agricultural products of Thanh Hoa province and typical products of provinces and cities in the Northern region; including 36 booths of business associations, enterprises, and localities in the province, 46 booths of neighboring provinces and cities.

The displayed goods and products are typical industrial, handicraft and agricultural products of Thanh Hoa province, OCOP products of localities in the province and typical products of provinces and cities ensuring criteria on origin, quality, food hygiene and safety, product labels... according to regulations.
