Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, Hoang Viet Phuong, emphasized that Tuyen Quang province, "the capital of the liberated zone - the capital of the resistance war," is honored and pleased to be chosen by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to host the "Conference of Leaders of Local Foreign Affairs Agencies in 2025."
During the resistance war against French colonialism, more than 60 central agencies established their headquarters to lead the nation's sacred resistance, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs historical site located in Minh Thanh commune. The comrade introduced the delegates to the potential and strengths in the province's economic , cultural, and social development and highly appreciated the local foreign affairs work in the recent past.

On behalf of the province, he thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its continuous support and assistance, creating favorable conditions for the province to successfully complete its foreign affairs tasks in the past, as well as its diplomatic activities in the future.
Nearly 200 delegates attending the conference focused on evaluating and expressing opinions on local foreign affairs work in the new era, an era of national progress. They also identified opportunities and challenges facing localities in foreign affairs. Concluding the conference, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ngo Le Van affirmed that the 2025 Conference of Leaders of Local Foreign Affairs Agencies had concluded successfully with many rich, substantive, and effective activities. He requested that units within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs take note of and study the recommendations of the leaders of local foreign affairs agencies in order to promptly provide appropriate responses and answers, helping local foreign affairs agencies to be more effective in the future. He thanked Tuyen Quang province for its effective coordination and support in organizing the conference with much warmth and sincerity from the "foreign affairs family".
