According to a quick report at the meeting, this afternoon, September 5, Storm No. 3 was in the northern part of the North East Sea. The storm intensity is level 16 (super storm level), gusting over level 17. This is a very strong storm, with a high risk of natural disasters and complicated developments. Preparations for storm response have been proactively deployed by units and localities.

At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested the hydrometeorological agency to do a good job of forecasting and issuing timely warnings for proactive response. Localities need to be proactive and accurately assess vulnerable and dangerous points to have appropriate response plans, minimizing damage caused by the super typhoon.

Immediately after the Government meeting, the Provincial People's Committee also held a meeting to deploy the response to Storm No. 3 in the area.
