At the conference, delegates were informed about the following: information on the socio- economic situation and national defense and security; the participation and contributions of religious followers in the province to national emulation movements, campaigns, and development programs and projects launched by Party committees, government agencies, and the Fatherland Front at all levels in 2025.

Representatives of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Lai Chau province delivered presentations at the conference.

At the conference, delegates heard several presentations, including: the contributions of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Lai Chau province to social welfare; the contributions of Buddhist followers in participating in the movement for national unity in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas , and the implementation of the model of unity between Buddhists and Catholics to ensure security and order in the past; the participation of religious dignitaries, officials, and followers in emulation movements to eliminate outdated customs and practices and build a civilized lifestyle in 2025 in accordance with Resolution No. 15-NQ/TU, dated December 22, 2023, of the Provincial Party Committee on eliminating outdated customs and practices and building a civilized lifestyle among the people of ethnic groups in Lai Chau province...

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tong Thanh Hai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - acknowledged and praised the contributions of religious leaders, officials, and followers of various religions in the province in implementing socio-economic development tasks, ensuring security and order, and contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of the people of Lai Chau in the past period.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his wish that religious leaders, officials, and followers of all religions continue to be a strong bridge between the Party's will and the people's aspirations; strictly adhere to the laws and regulations on belief and religion; and organize religious activities in accordance with the Charter, Statute, and regulations of the State. He also urged them to continue spreading the spirit of compassion, actively participate in social activities related to education, healthcare, charity, and environmental protection. He encouraged followers to work diligently in production, replicate effective economic models to achieve sustainable poverty reduction, and strengthen coordination with the government to maintain security and order, especially in border areas and ethnic minority regions; and to be vigilant against distorted narratives that sow discord and undermine national unity.
