On April 20, the Quan Son District Labor Federation (DLF) organized the opening ceremony of the 2024 sports festival for workers, civil servants, and laborers.

The Organizing Committee awarded souvenir flags to the delegations participating in the sports festival.

The sports festival had 325 athletes from grassroots unions under the Quan Son District Labor Federation. The athletes competed in 3 events: Men's volleyball, women's volleyball, and men's and women's badminton.

The sports festival is an activity to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024); the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2024); the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024); the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024). This is an opportunity for union members and employees of grassroots unions under the Quan Son District Labor Federation to exchange, learn, share experiences, improve health, improve spiritual life, and contribute to the excellent completion of political tasks at agencies, units, and enterprises.
