On the morning of August 20th, Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School ( Hanoi ) organized a program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2nd, 1945 - September 2nd, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Education and Training (August 28th, 1945 - August 28th, 2025).
Here, more than 2,000 teachers and students came together to form the shape of the national flag, covering the entire schoolyard.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, the school principal, said that education is not only about imparting knowledge, but also about instilling in the hearts of each young generation the flame of love for their homeland, unwavering will, a sense of responsibility for the nation's future, and the aspiration to rise high and bring Vietnam to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading nations. That is also the reason why the school is holding this special first traditional education lesson of the 2025-2026 school year.

Addressing the students, Ms. Thuy said that Gen Z students are growing up in a peaceful country, amidst deep integration and a borderless technological world.
“On this journey, I hope you will keep a passionate heart, a bright mind, and persistent hands, to continue the spirit of our ancestors and previous generations. Study hard to become excellent, cultivate strong character, and live to contribute to the community and the nation. Let the aspirations of youth blend with the vibrant heartbeat of the nation, so that the red flag with the yellow star will not only fly high in the sky today, but also shine brightly on new heights that you yourselves will conquer together,” Ms. Thuy shared.
On this occasion, the school also invited singers Tung Duong and Le Anh Dung, and People's Artist Thu Huyen to interact with the teachers and students.
According to Ms. Thuy, this activity aims to realize the policy of the Ministry of Education and Training on mobilizing artists, artisans, and professional athletes to participate in organizing educational activities in schools, especially in the fields of culture, art, sports, and life skills.

"The artists have brought songs and melodies that encourage national spirit and inspire students through heroic tunes about the homeland. I believe that these things will contribute to reviving national values and aspirations in each student," Ms. Thuy said.
