On the morning of August 20, Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School ( Hanoi ) organized a program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Education and Training (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).
Here, more than 2,000 teachers and students lined up together in the shape of the national flag covering the school yard.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Principal of the school, said that education is not only about imparting knowledge, but also about instilling in the soul of each young generation the flame of love for the homeland and country, a strong will, a sense of responsibility for the future of the nation and the aspiration to rise up, bringing Vietnam to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world powers. That is also the reason why the school conducts the first traditional education period of this special 2025-2026 school year.

In her message to students, Ms. Thuy said that Gen Z students are growing up in a peaceful country, in a context of deep integration and a borderless technological world.
“On that journey, I hope you will keep a warm heart - a bright mind and resilient hands, to continue the spirit of our ancestors, of the previous generation. Study to become good, practice a strong character, and live to contribute to the community, to the Fatherland. Let the aspirations of youth blend with the vibrant heartbeat of the nation, so that the red flag with yellow star not only flies in the sky today, but also shines brightly on new heights that you will conquer together,” Ms. Thuy shared.
On this occasion, the school also invited singer Tung Duong, singer Le Anh Dung, and People's Artist Thu Huyen to interact with teachers and students.
According to Ms. Thuy, this is an activity to realize the policy of the Ministry of Education and Training on mobilizing artists, artisans, and professional athletes to participate in organizing educational activities in schools, especially in the fields of culture, arts, sports, and life skills.

“The artists brought songs and voices, encouraging the national spirit and inspiring the students through heroic melodies about the Fatherland. I believe that these things will contribute to awakening national values and aspirations in each student,” said Ms. Thuy.
