The Festival aims to preserve and promote the identity and traditional cultural values of the nation; honor artisans, skilled workers, and workers in craft villages, arouse pride in craft villages, artisans, and craftsmen, thereby creating awareness of preserving, conserving, and developing craft villages; and at the same time promote and introduce craft village products of Hanoi to the international community.

The Craft Village Festival is also an opportunity for domestic and international artisans and skilled workers to exchange and learn in order to build long-term cooperative relationships in the field of handicrafts; expand the market, enhance the commercial value and competitiveness of products.

The festival is organized on a scale of more than 4,000m², including many functional spaces; International conference on preservation and development of craft villages in the green and digital era; conference on trade promotion and investment in craft villages; Vietnam handicraft product contest; fair on craft villages and safe agricultural and food products in Hanoi.
