More than 300 people received free cancer screening

On August 16, General Hospital No. 2 coordinated with General Hospital and Muong Khuong Regional Medical Center to organize free cancer screening for people in the area and neighboring areas.

At the program, doctors screened 307 people for breast cancer, thyroid cancer, cervical cancer and urinary diseases.

Through screening, 2 cases of thyroid tumors were detected and indicated for surgery; 7 cases of thyroid tumors were detected and a number of patients were found to have Basedow's disease, cervical lymph nodes, enlarged male breasts, gallstones, kidney and ureteral stones, etc.

During the examination, doctors and nurses promoted and advised people to increase their knowledge of preventing breast cancer, thyroid cancer, cervical cancer and urinary diseases.
