On the morning of October 26, at Uyen Hung Park, Tan Uyen Ward (HCMC), Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union coordinated to launch the 162nd "Green Sunday" - 2025.

After the launching ceremony, more than 400 volunteers including local people, union members, youth, police and military forces directly collected garbage on Truong Thi No street and dredged irrigation canals in Tan Uyen ward.

The Ho Chi Minh City Youth Social Work Center also coordinated with the Standing Committee of Tan Uyen Ward Youth Union to present 18 environmental protection trash bins to local residents and schools.

At the launching ceremony, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee coordinated with the Tan Uyen Young Entrepreneurs Association to carry out the project "Repairing houses for households in difficult circumstances to overcome difficulties and improve their lives" in the ward, with a total value of 60 million VND.
The 162nd Green Sunday launching ceremony is an activity to celebrate the success of the Party Congresses at all levels, to compete for achievements to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of Ho Chi Minh City for the 2025-2030 term. The activity also aims to promote the spirit of vanguard and volunteerism of the city's youth in environmental protection, spreading the message of green living and sustainable living to every citizen and youth in the city.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 30 scholarships (450,000 VND/scholarship) to students who overcame difficulties to study well.
