More than 700 students are equipped with knowledge on preventing human trafficking and illegal migration.

On December 4, at Bac Me High School, Bac Me Commune, the Provincial Department of Education and Training in coordination with the British Embassy organized a contest to learn about knowledge on preventing and combating human trafficking and illegal migration at Bac Me High School in 2025. Attending the contest were Ms. Jane Parrott, Chief Representative of the Department of International Cooperation of the British Ministry of the Interior in Vietnam; representatives of the Provincial Department of Education and Training; leaders of Bac Me Commune and over 700 students of Bac Me High School.

Representatives of the Department of Education and Training and the British Embassy presented gifts to the students.

The contest has 4 teams of students from Bac Me High School. The teams go through 3 rounds: Greeting, quick answer and debate. After that, the Organizing Committee will select 2 teams with high scores to enter the debate round. With careful preparation, the teams have demonstrated their knowledge and understanding through creative performances, the content is adapted in the form of dramatization, skits based on real situations and stories. In particular, in the quick answer and debate rounds, the teams have demonstrated their understanding of human trafficking and illegal immigration, the harms and risks of human trafficking and illegal migration.

Through the contest, the aim is to help raise awareness of staff, teachers and students of Bac Me High School on preventing illegal migration and human trafficking and the Party's regulations, policies and laws of the State on preventing illegal migration and human trafficking. Thereby, reducing illegal migration and preventing human trafficking. At the same time, creating a healthy playground for students to have the opportunity to exchange, learn and develop presentation and public speaking skills.
