The first session of the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dak Lak province

At the first working session, the Congress carried out important contents including: consulting to elect the Presidium and the Congress Secretary; approving the program, regulations, and working regulations of the Congress; reporting on the situation of delegates; asking for opinions on the voting form; and reviewing the draft political reports as well as comments on the draft amendments to the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The Congress also listened to the review report of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province for the 2019-2024 term.

Accordingly, in the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province has promoted the spirit of solidarity, unity, and collective intelligence to effectively implement action programs. In particular, the Committee has focused on innovating the content and methods of operation, while effectively implementing campaigns and emulation movements. At the same time, actively implementing the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

By the end of 2023, the whole province will have 78/151 communes recognized as completing the New Rural Construction Program, including 1 commune completing the advanced new rural program and 1 district-level unit, Buon Ma Thuot city, completing the new rural construction program for the period 2016 - 2020.

The movement "Following the thinking and working style of ethnic minorities" has also achieved many remarkable results, with the "For the Poor" fund collecting 107 billion 638 million VND, building 1,395 solidarity houses and supporting many poor households. The province's poverty rate will decrease to 9.15% by the end of 2023.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province has also implemented relief activities and mobilized the "Repaying gratitude" fund, with a total donation of 48 billion 199 million VND. These activities have contributed to supporting poor households, people in difficulty and implementing social security policies.

Patriotic emulation movements and activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have created many typical models in environmental protection and promoting the spirit of great solidarity. Models such as "Self-managed road to protect the environment" and "Self-managed women to protect the environment" have attracted a large number of people to participate, contributing to building a "green, clean, beautiful" environment in 2,421 residential areas in the province.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Innovation - Development", the 15th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Consultative Congress, term 2024 - 2029, consists of 93 members. The second working session of the Congress will be held tomorrow morning, August 28.
