This afternoon (July 17), the Danang Union of Friendship Organizations (DAFO) held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement with Activity International (AI), the Netherlands, on implementing the International Volunteer Program in Danang city.

According to the Cooperation Agreement, DAFO and AI will coordinate to provide international volunteers to participate in social work in Da Nang, including: supporting children and people with disabilities in difficult circumstances; participating in guiding, exchanging, and teaching English. In addition, international volunteers will also learn about the country, people, culture of Vietnam and Da Nang city, thereby contributing to promoting and promoting tourism ; mobilizing humanitarian and charitable programs and projects and a number of other fields.

  Through the meeting, the two sides discussed the new and outstanding points in the mechanism and specific policies for the development of Da Nang city, including the establishment of the Da Nang Free Trade Zone. Da Nang city hopes that this new mechanism will attract the attention of international investors, who will participate in investing in Da Nang with many outstanding, convenient and effective incentives.
