Vietnam's 'hot boy' gymnast shows his class at age 30.

Dinh Phuong Thanh brilliantly won the gold medal in the parallel bars event, demonstrating superior class compared to other competitors on the afternoon of December 12th.

On the afternoon of December 12th, Dinh Phuong Thanh competed in the finals of the men's horizontal bar and parallel bars events at the 33rd SEA Games.

Dinh Phuong Thanh performed almost perfectly, scoring 12.900 points in the parallel bars event. He surpassed his two closest competitors, Yudha Satria Tri Wira of Indonesia (12.633 points) and Nomura Fuga of Thailand (12.167 points).

Winning the parallel bars event was a strong comeback, a reminder that the "elder brother" still retains his top-class status after nearly a decade of being among the elite of Vietnamese gymnastics.

Phuong Thanh celebrated with his coach, Truong Minh Sang. The gold medal in the parallel bars he just won is proof of the persistent efforts of this "hot boy" of gymnastics.

Immediately afterwards, he competed in the horizontal bar event. Phuong Thanh performed well, but his landing wasn't perfect, causing him to lose the gold medal to his opponent.

At 30 years old, Dinh Phuong Thanh is participating in his 6th SEA Games. Returning after a long period of infrequent international competition, Dinh Phuong Thanh maintains his composure, confidence, and precision in every movement.

Vietnamese gymnast Tran Doan Quynh Nam also advanced to the final of the women's balance beam event. Quynh Nam finished 4th overall.

As of now (5 PM), the Vietnamese sports delegation has won 19 gold medals at the SEA Games 33.

On the afternoon of December 12th, many gymnastics events entered their finals at the Thammasat University gymnasium (Bangkok, Thailand).
