A training course on initial incident response skills was recently launched in Hanoi by the Vietnam Cyber Emergency Response Center (VNCERT/CC) under the Department of Information Security (Ministry of Information and Communications) in collaboration with CyberCX ( Australia ).
Accordingly, more than 30 trainees, including technical staff from various ministries, departments, and national cybersecurity incident response networks, received direct training from senior experts at CyberCX. In addition to being updated on cybersecurity incident response procedures and evidence gathering methods, the trainees also received guidance from Australian experts on evidence analysis, timeline building, and threat hunting strategies in an incident.
According to VNCERT/CC Director Nguyen Duc Tuan, in the trend of digital transformation and global information system connectivity, preparedness and incident response are crucial components of in-depth defense, alongside the existing multi-layered protections of agencies and organizations.
