On November 3, according to information from the Ministry of Public Security, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police to destroy a prostitution ring.
On October 30, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency issued a decision to prosecute the prostitution brokerage case, prosecuting three defendants: Huynh Thanh Thuan (born in 1990, residing in District 4, Ho Chi Minh City, occupation: makeup artist, personal style expert), Pham Do Nhat Duy (born in 1985, residing in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, freelance worker) and Le Thi Thu Thao (born in 1985, residing in Kien Giang province, freelance worker).
The above decisions and orders have been approved by the Supreme People's Procuracy.
At the investigation agency, the three defendants confessed to having been engaged in prostitution brokerage since the beginning of 2023. During this process, Thuan, Thao, and Duy brokered for many prostitutes and customers, illegally earning hundreds of millions of dong.

On October 24, after someone wanted to buy sex from young, beautiful prostitutes working in showbiz, Huynh Ngoc Thuan introduced TTL, LHP, HPTH as models, beauty queens, and singers working in Vietnamese showbiz, regularly appearing in the media, and having a large following on social networks.
The price for sex buyers for prostitutes in this case is from 60 million VND to 100 million VND/domestic tour (2 days) and 6,000 USD for foreign tour (2 days).
On the same day, a task force led by the Ministry of Public Security caught three couples of men and women in the act of buying and selling sex. The prostitutes were identified as VTTT (model, hot Tiktoker), HPTH (model, hot Facebooker) and LHP (model, beauty queen of Asia).
At that time, the authorities also stopped a couple who had completed exit procedures at Tan Son Nhat airport (HCMC) from going to Singapore to engage in prostitution under the guise of traveling abroad; the prostitute was identified as TTL (singer).

Based on collected evidence, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency summoned and urgently searched the residences of Huynh Thanh Thuan, Pham Do Nhat Duy, and Le Thi Thu Thao for prostitution brokerage.
According to the Ministry of Public Security, recently, the Criminal Police Department has discovered that prostitution brokerage and buying and selling activities are still taking place in the Vietnamese showbiz world in many forms with sophisticated methods and tricks, causing negative impacts on Vietnam's cultural traditions. Prostitution brokers are often people directly related to the showbiz world.
