Director of Da Nang Electricity Company Le Hong Cuong said that on November 7, immediately after storm No. 13 swept through and caused serious consequences for the people of the Central region, Da Nang Electricity Company quickly dispatched 4 shock teams with nearly 100 personnel including technical staff and skilled workers to support in repairing the damaged power grid in the areas of Quy Nhon and Phu Cat, Gia Lai province.

Along with increasing the number of healthy, qualified and experienced human resources, Da Nang Electricity Company mobilized dozens of mechanical vehicles, equipment and materials, ensuring the fastest handling of incidents in complex terrain and weather conditions.

With the spirit of restoring the power grid as quickly and safely as possible, all 5 shock teams of the Company have joined the fight urgently, united, sharing the same fate with colleagues and local people, determined to restore the power grid as soon as possible for people in the storm-hit area of Gia Lai province.

In Da Nang city, storms No. 12 and No. 13 and historic rains at the end of October caused serious consequences to the power grid in the city, especially in mountainous areas. Da Nang Electricity Company deployed thousands of technical staff and skilled workers to promptly restore power to the people.

Particularly in mountainous communes such as A Vuong, Hung Son, Tra Tap, Tra Leng... due to severe landslides, traffic access is difficult, especially in residential areas in remote areas. However, with the increase of human resources to support the regional electricity management teams, by November 10, electricity supply has been restored to serve the people.

Thus, up to this point, 100% of electricity customers in Da Nang city affected by storms and floods have had their electricity restored to serve the daily life and production of people affected by natural disasters.
