In implementing the "National Program on Foreign Language Learning for Cadres, Civil Servants, and Public Employees in the period 2019-2030" and the learning of ethnic minority languages, the Hoành Mô Border Gate Border Guard Station is opening a Chinese language training class. The conversational Chinese class is expected to last 3 months (from August 20th to November 20th), with classes held on Saturday and Sunday evenings each week.
During their studies, students will receive training in fundamental knowledge and a solid understanding of the Chinese language system, including basic communication skills, vocabulary, and sentence patterns relevant to professional work, foreign affairs, cross-border trade, customs procedures, and specialized vocabulary. The training will integrate listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with a focus on developing communication reflexes and listening comprehension skills using basic sentence patterns across various fields. This will enable students to use Chinese effectively in foreign affairs.
The training program aims to improve foreign language proficiency, especially in Chinese, for cadres, soldiers, civil servants, officials, union members, youth, and the people in Hoanh Mo commune; contributing to meeting the requirements of work, communication, study, and integration. At the same time, it strengthens communication skills, information exchange, cultural and social interaction, and promotes economic cooperation between localities on both sides of the border; contributing to improving the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy and firmly protecting national border security and sovereignty .
