The 2025 ASEAN Police and Law Enforcement Football Tournament opened on the evening of July 9th and will run until July 15th at Hang Day Stadium ( Hanoi ).

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security, along with many representatives of leaders from central and local ministries and agencies; leaders of police units and localities; representatives of leaders of sports organizations, etc.

The competition took place on a very special occasion.

Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang delivered the opening remarks, stating that the tournament, hosted by the Ministry of Public Security, was being held on a very special occasion.

The whole country is preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2nd, the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force, and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for Protecting National Security.

The Minister affirmed that the tournament was organized with the desire to strongly spread the spirit of solidarity, discipline, dedication, and inspiration of the king of sports, to strengthen solidarity and friendship between countries in the region and around the world, as well as between Vietnam and other countries, and between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the police forces of other countries.

This will promote close and effective cooperation between the police forces of various countries in ensuring security and order, combating crime, especially transnational crime, for peace, security, safety, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world.

Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung "compete in vocals," "setting the stage on fire."

With their performance of "Continuing the Story of Peace ," Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung are two artists who have received public attention after the April 30th national holiday.

On the evening of July 9th, the two reunited on the same stage, singing songs about their country and their love for football.

There was also the Oplus group and international artists from 6 different countries, performing in various languages.

With songs like "The Path We Take," "Joining Hands," "Unstoppable," "I Love Football," "The Cup of Life," "Heal the World," "Let's Shine," and " The Road to Glory ," the artists all share a common aspiration for a united Southeast Asia for peace.

In particular, Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung had a vocal showdown that turned the opening stage into a fiery atmosphere, welcoming the other teams to Vietnam to compete.

The opening ceremony was elaborately and grandly staged, combining traditional and modern music, transcending cultural and linguistic boundaries, and expressing the aspirations, solidarity, and noble ideals of the new generation of police officers.

The event opened with a drum performance, combined with lion, dragon, and unicorn dances, showcasing the rich Vietnamese culture with the theme "Aspiration to Shine," performed by nearly 600 students from the People's Police Academy.

The tournament brings together 8 teams from 7 countries, including 5 teams from the ASEAN region, one invited team from outside the region (Australia), and two host teams from Vietnam.

The competition took place on a very special occasion.
