Opening of Son La Ultra Trail 2025 race

On the morning of December 5, in Ta Xua commune, the Organizing Committee of the Son La Ultra Trail 2025 race held an opening ceremony with the participation of nearly 1,000 domestic and international athletes. The tournament affirmed the local attraction of this type of adventure sport associated with nature exploration.

This year's tournament takes place in 4 distances: 10km, 25km, 55km and 100km. The competition routes go through famous cloud hunting spots, such as: Dinosaur's spine, ancient Shan Tuyet tea area in Be village, dinosaur waterfall and Mong ethnic villages in Ta Xua commune.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the 100km athletes set off to conquer the most challenging route of the tournament. On December 6 and 7, the remaining distances will compete as planned.

Son La Ultra Trail 2025, taking place from December 5 to 7, is not only a sporting event, but also an opportunity for Ta Xua commune to introduce its tourism potential, especially cloud hunting tourism, eco-tourism and community experience. This is also an opportunity for Ta Xua to promote its typical agricultural products, local accommodation services, create resources for economic development from tourism, contributing to building Ta Xua into an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists.
