Yamanashi University Hospital participates in the operation of Ningen Dock Bernard, responsible for cross-referencing all MRI and CT results and quality control of diagnostic imaging for all clients/patients undergoing Ningen Dock examinations or advanced screening for cancer, stroke risk, vascular diseases, etc., at Bernard.

The two sides jointly developed a rigorous three-stage process of reading, cross-checking, and professional discussion, specifically: Both sides conduct parallel and independent reading of diagnostic imaging results (first stage).
In cases where complex pathologies such as cancer are suspected, Yamanashi University Hospital will initiate a cross-reading process by radiologists and clinicians at the hospital before returning the results (second layer). At the same time, Bernard's physicians and/or Medical Council will also conduct consultations with specialists and radiologists at Bernard, giving preliminary conclusions.
In case of differing results, both parties will discuss online. If, after the consultation, no agreement is reached, Bernard will be responsible for informing the patient of the final result. However, he will also provide full information about the hospital's assessment results to ensure transparency (third layer).
