Urgent investigation and support for the families of the victims of the explosion in Ha Dong

On the morning of June 18, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 91/CD-TTg regarding the explosion at house No. 8 - TT35, Van Phu urban area, Phu La ward, Ha Dong district, Hanoi.

Authorities are urgently investigating the cause of the house explosion in Ha Dong district, Hanoi.

Accordingly, the explosion, which occurred at approximately 5 PM on June 17th, caused exceptionally serious damage, resulting in two fatalities. On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims.

The directive instructs the Hanoi People's Committee to promptly visit and provide material and spiritual support to the victim's family, and to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident. If violations are found, the relevant organizations and individuals must be strictly punished according to the law.

In addition, Hanoi City is required to intensify propaganda and mobilize people to strictly comply with regulations on the management of weapons, explosives, and fireworks; and at the same time implement fire prevention and control plans, especially during hot weather.
