Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh has just inspected the implementation of site clearance for the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Project.
The Doc Da Trang Industrial Park project has a total area of 288 hectares. In phase 1, the project needs to clear 116.27 hectares of land to organize the groundbreaking ceremony. Of which, Bac Ninh Hoa commune must clear 47.82 hectares of land (18 affected cases); Van Hung commune must clear 68.45 hectares of land (56 affected cases).
Up to now, the Ninh Hoa and Van Ninh Regional Land Fund Development Branch has coordinated with relevant units and localities to complete the inventory and confirm the land origin of 71/74 cases; the remaining 1 case has no owner and 2 new cases arise due to land division in Van Hung commune.
In Bac Ninh Hoa commune, the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town (old) has issued a decision approving compensation and support funds for 18/18 cases with a total amount of nearly 86 billion VND. Up to now, 9 cases have received compensation with a total amount of more than 33.5 billion VND and handed over the site of 17.53/47.82 hectares, reaching a rate of 36.65%. In Van Hung commune, the People's Committee of Van Ninh district (old) has issued a decision approving compensation and support funds for 51/56 cases; there are 5 cases where the compensation plan has not been approved, including 2 cases of land use rights disputes, 1 case of absentee owners and 2 new cases. Currently, 49 cases have received money and handed over the site with a total area of 63.7/68.45 hectares, reaching a rate of 93.06%; the remaining 2 cases have not received compensation.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh emphasized that industrial development is the foundation for Khanh Hoa province to achieve double-digit economic growth. The Doc Da Trang Industrial Park project is one of the very important projects, contributing significantly to the province's economic growth.
Therefore, Mr. Thanh requested that localities urgently review the causes of slow progress, report and propose to competent authorities to handle any problems related to policies and mechanisms, if any; and pay attention to protecting the maximum interests of the people. Departments and branches should focus on removing obstacles in site clearance, proactively allocate resources and propose solutions to speed up progress.
Mr. Thanh also requested agencies, units, and localities to be unanimous and determined to complete the site clearance of phase 1 of the project before August 15 to organize the groundbreaking ceremony in time. Regarding the project investor, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary requested the unit not to invest in phases, urgently complete procedures to adjust the investment certificate, and strive to clear the remaining site before November 30 to continue implementing the project.
