On the afternoon of August 8th, a delegation from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with scientists attending the conference "Dong Son Culture - 100 Years of Discovery, Preservation and Promotion of Values," conducted a field survey at historical sites belonging to the Dong Son Culture.
The delegation visited the excavation site of the 6th Dong Son archaeological site.
At Dong Son ancient village ( Thanh Hoa City), the working group and scientists visited Pham Thong Pagoda (or Dong Son Pagoda) and the excavation site of the 6th Dong Son archaeological site.
The visited sites all bear the typical characteristics of the Dong Son Culture, affirming the process of the origin, existence, and development of the Dong Son Culture.

Also at Pham Thong Pagoda, at the excavation site of the 6th Dong Son archaeological site, the Management Board introduced the delegation to the process of preserving and promoting the value of the relics.

Field surveys at Dong Son Culture sites are part of the workshop program "Dong Son Culture - 100 Years of Discovery, Preservation and Promotion of Values," aiming to provide practical experience in the research process, affirming the value as well as preserving and promoting the value of Dong Son Culture.
