According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training , on August 19, 8 projects in the field of education and training will be started and launched, among 250 key national projects simultaneously started and inaugurated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Nurturing a new generation of human resources
The online groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony of 250 projects will be held simultaneously at 80 locations nationwide at 9:00 a.m. on August 19, 2025.
Specifically, the 8 educational and training projects include: Thanh Thuy Primary and Secondary Boarding School Project (Tuyen Quang); Phuc Hoa Primary and Secondary Boarding School Project (Cao Bang); Tay Giang Primary and Secondary Boarding School Project (Da Nang); Khuat Xa Ethnic Boarding School Project (Lang Son); Hoanh Mo Primary and Secondary Boarding School Project (Quang Ninh); Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics Training and Research Facility Project in Khanh Hoa; Lecture Hall Block 2C Project - Long Binh Tan Campus, Ho Chi Minh City Open University (Dong Nai); Multi-purpose Experimental House - Hanoi National University.
Of the 8 projects mentioned above, 4 projects were selected to organize online bridges, including: Thanh Thuy Primary and Secondary Boarding School Project (Tuyen Quang); Phuc Hoa Primary and Secondary Boarding School Project (Cao Bang); Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics Training and Research Facility Project in Khanh Hoa; 2C Lecture Block Project - Long Binh Tan Campus, Ho Chi Minh City Open University (Dong Nai).
Implementing the Prime Minister's telegram and the guidance of the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Education and Training has requested Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City Open University and the two provinces of Tuyen Quang and Cao Bang to urgently prepare necessary conditions and coordinate with relevant agencies to organize the groundbreaking ceremony at the right time.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) said: The Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics' Training and Research Facility Project in Khanh Hoa (UEH Nexus Campus Nha Trang) is a new training and research branch with the positioning of "A place where scholars and global knowledge converge".
The new facility will undertake three main tasks: Training high-quality human resources to meet the socio-economic development needs of the region; Researching and transferring practical solutions; Connecting the network of scholars, students, and businesses at home and abroad.
In addition to UEH's strengths such as economics, law, logistics, tourism, planning, etc., UEH Nexus Campus focuses on training, research, and international connections associated with Khanh Hoa's advantages and the region's potential such as: Sustainable marine economy, marine spatial planning, ocean technology, microchips, health care and community development.
With optimal-modern-dynamic-green and sustainable architecture, UEH Nexus Campus has a training scale of 2,000 students, 90 working places for staff, lecturers and many areas for research, creativity, and community connection. The dormitory area provides accommodation for 376 boarding students, creating a convenient and cohesive learning and living environment.
The project is inspired by Champa architecture, reflecting local culture and traditions, while inspiring pride in the generation of learners. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026, promising to become a place of knowledge convergence, a place to nurture a new generation of human resources, contributing to the implementation of the goal of sustainable development and integration of Khanh Hoa province as well as the South Central Coast - Central Highlands region.

The project of the Boarding High School for Primary and Secondary Schools in Thanh Thuy Commune, Tuyen Quang Province is one of the schools implemented under the new policy of the Politburo on investing in the construction of boarding schools for primary and secondary schools in land border communes.
As a border commune, located more than 170km from the administrative center of Tuyen Quang province, Thanh Thuy is currently facing many difficulties in terms of transportation, infrastructure as well as economic development conditions.
Recently, attending the National Day for National Security Protection in 2025 and the inauguration ceremony of the Uncle Ho Statue in Tuyen Quang province, General Secretary To Lam donated all funds to build the Thanh Thuy Commune Primary and Secondary Boarding High School.
This activity brings an opportunity for the locality to fundamentally improve educational conditions, contribute to improving people's knowledge and human resource quality, create a source of local ethnic minority cadres, and add confidence and hope to teachers, students and people of Thanh Thuy commune in particular, and the educational cause of Tuyen Quang province in general.
For Cao Bang, the Phuc Hoa Primary and Secondary Boarding School Project, in Ban Moi hamlet, Phuc Hoa commune, is expected to be built on an area of 6 hectares with 36 classes, 1,260 students, each class has a maximum of 35 students.
Principal of Phuc Hoa Secondary Boarding School Trinh Thi Minh Hanh said: The school was built a long time ago and now the boarding area for students is seriously degraded.
Although the Cao Bang Provincial Education Department has annually allocated funds to repair facilities, it still cannot ensure the increase in the number of students as required.
The school currently has 8 classrooms, each with 30 students, very cramped, not ensuring the required area. The school's dormitory has 27 rooms but is also degraded, the electricity, water, windows, and roof systems do not ensure the students' living conditions... Therefore, investing in a new school is really necessary for the communes in the border area.
Cao Bang province has established special working groups to conduct field inspections, determine investment plans, designs, and make estimates in accordance with technical standards and educational goals, ensuring compliance with the law, and absolutely preventing loss, waste, and negativity during implementation.
