Construction of Sim San bridge (Y Ty commune) started

On the morning of August 7, the People's Committee of Y Ty commune, the Bat Xat Area Construction Investment Project Management Board, and Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup Corporation) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Sim San bridge. This bridge is located on the road connecting the center of Y Ty commune to the border villages of Sim San 1, Sim San 2 and Hong Ngai.

Representatives of Y Ty Commune People's Committee, Bat Xat Area Construction Investment Project Management Board, Thien Tam Fund ( Vingroup Corporation) started construction of Sim San bridge.

Sim San Bridge is built with reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete, with a total length of 37.1 m and a width of 7.5 m. The approach roads at both ends of the bridge are designed according to B-GTNT (rural traffic) road standards, with a road surface width of 3.5 m and a sidewalk width of 1.5 m on each side. The total length of the route is more than 251 m.

The project has a total investment of 12 billion VND, of which Thien Tam Fund sponsored 8 billion VND, the provincial budget supported 4 billion VND. The construction of Sim San bridge is expected to be completed before October 31, 2026.

Previously, due to the impact of storm circulation No. 3 ( Yagi ) in 2024, floods washed away the temporary Sim San bridge, causing traffic disruption, seriously affecting the lives, activities and production of people in Sim San 1, Sim San 2 and Hong Ngai villages.

The construction of Sim San Bridge not only solves the need for travel and convenient trade of goods for people, but is also a symbol of sharing and connecting the community, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and affection, contributing to adding motivation for people in the highlands to overcome difficulties and strive to build a better life.
