On the morning of August 11, the inspection delegation of the Central Steering Committee for the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations (GDC) led by comrade Nguyen Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission and Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee, inspected the implementation of the GDC at the grassroots level in Thai Binh province.

The implementation of democracy at grassroots levels in recent times has received attention from Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio -political organizations in Thai Binh province, leading, directing, and organizing implementation, ensuring the people's mastery in all areas of social life, linking the implementation of the QCDC with the implementation of local socio-economic development tasks. Awareness of democracy, democratic practice, and results of implementing democracy at the grassroots level continue to be raised; democracy within the Party, in the management and operation of state agencies, public service units, and enterprises has become more substantial. Authorities at all levels have actively implemented democracy at the grassroots level in the direction of respecting and promoting the people's mastery, clearly defining the responsibilities of all levels, sectors, heads of agencies, units, and enterprises in implementing democracy. The Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations actively innovate their activities, coordinate well with the government, promote the role of supervision and social criticism, organize people to participate in giving opinions on Party building and government building; care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, association members and people. The Steering Committees for the implementation of the QCDC at all levels promote their functions and tasks well in advising, directing, inspecting and urging the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety, and building a clean and strong political system.

At the inspection session, delegates focused on exchanging and discussing to clarify some of the results achieved in implementing grassroots democracy in various forms in Thai Binh province in recent times, especially good experiences and creative ways in implementing grassroots democracy; at the same time, sharing about the current practical difficulties and problems.

Speaking at the inspection session, Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the QCDC at the grassroots level of the province informed about some outstanding socio-economic results of the province in the past time; at the same time, he affirmed that these results were achieved thanks to the attention and leadership of the central government, the drastic participation of the entire political system from the province to the grassroots level, especially thanks to the good promotion of democracy at the grassroots level. In particular, he emphasized the change in awareness of the implementation of the QCDC at the grassroots level; there were many innovations in the organization and implementation process from thoroughly grasping the policies and documents of the central government, building action programs, propaganda, mobilization, publicizing the steps and procedures... The responsibility of the heads of local Party committees, authorities, agencies and units in the implementation of the QCDC at the grassroots level has been raised, they have been drastically involved in the implementation, regularly listening, paying attention to resolving the opinions and recommendations of the people right at the grassroots level. Focus on inspection and supervision of the implementation of the QCDC in all forms. Timely commend, reward and replicate typical examples. Thanks to the good promotion of democracy at the grassroots level, people trust the leadership of Party committees and authorities at all levels, creating high consensus and unity in implementing local political tasks.
Concluding the inspection session, Comrade Nguyen Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee, Head of the inspection delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of implementing the QCDC in Thai Binh province in the past time, especially appreciating the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and the Steering Committee for implementing the QCDC at the grassroots level of the province. The organization and implementation of the QCDC by Party committees and authorities at all levels was carried out methodically, scientifically, and with many innovations. Direct democracy was expanded, all stemming from the interests of the people, on the basis of listening to people's opinions, doing what people need, promptly resolving people's opinions and recommendations. Thereby creating trust and consensus among the people, close ties between the Party committees, authorities and the people. The province has many models and creative and highly effective ways of promoting people's mastery.
He affirmed: The practical implementation of the QCDC at the grassroots level in Thai Binh and valuable experiences help the inspection team have a basis to synthesize into a general assessment report and then widely replicate it. He also agreed with the system of key tasks and solutions in the coming time that the Steering Committee for the implementation of the QCDC at the grassroots level of the province has pointed out; in which it is necessary to focus on thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing Law No. 10/2022/QH15 of the 15th National Assembly on implementing democracy at the grassroots level.
