Strengthening the organization of trade union personnel in communes and wards

On the morning of August 6, at the People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot Ward, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC Labor Federation) held a conference to announce the decision to reorganize the union organization personnel of communes and wards in the former Binh Duong area.

The conference announced the decisions to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, the positions of President and Vice President of the Trade Union of 13 communes and wards under the Working Group No. 8 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation. On that basis, the trade union organizations of communes and wards will be consolidated, ensuring the proper implementation of their functions and tasks.

The Regional Management Working Group No. 8 under the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation directly manages 13 commune and ward trade unions in the Thu Dau Mot, Tan Uyen, Bac Tan Uyen areas and Hoa Loi ward of Ben Cat in the past with more than 1,400 grassroots trade unions and more than 265,000 union members.

On behalf of the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor, comrade Nguyen Kim Loan, member of the City Party Committee, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor, Head of the Working Group for Management of Area No. 8, hopes that the trade unions and trade union officials of communes and wards will always promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, proactive creativity, stay close to the grassroots, grasp the living and working situation of union members and workers to promptly reflect, advise and organize activities to care for and protect the rights of workers more and more practically and effectively.

The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation presented a symbolic board to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Binh Duong province with a total of 2,200 gifts, worth 2.2 billion VND.
