KLH HAGL AGRICO Laos applies mechanization to cattle farming activities

In order to meet the need to provide food for a herd of nearly 10,000 cows by the end of 2024, KLH HAGL AGRICO Laos has invested in John Deere 6155M tractors and Celikel Challenger 4 grass cutting equipment.

Compared with the old grass cutter Celikel Challenger 2, the productivity of the grass cutter Celikel Challenger 4 has increased significantly, reaching about 10 - 12 tons of grass/hour, helping to shorten the harvesting time and reduce labor costs. Meanwhile, the John Deere 6155M plays a powerful pulling and driving role, combined with the Celikel Challenger 4 grass cutter with a sharp blade design, equipped with a built-in blade sharpening mechanism and a flexible chopping mechanism to help harvest grass quickly and effectively.

With the ability to work on large areas and high efficiency, the combination of the Celikel Challenger 4 grass cutter and the John Deere 6155M tractor saves time, reduces labor, and ensures consistent quality of grass harvest without the need for manual handling. In addition, these two devices also help optimize the harvesting process, minimize resource waste and ensure a safer and more efficient working environment.

Regular and proper maintenance is an important factor to ensure the longevity and performance of the equipment. Mr. Tran Nhat Tam - Director of KLH's Automotive & Internal Transportation Department shared: "After many tests with the John Deere 6155M tractor and the Celikel Challenger 4 grass cutter, we highly appreciate the performance and durability of the equipment. The tests showed that the machine operates stably, helping us harvest grass on large areas quickly and effectively. The team of workers directly working with the equipment are all tractor operators with more than 3 years of experience, helping to maintain the machinery in the best condition. Thanks to that, the operation process takes place continuously, without interruption, ensuring a high-quality food source for the herd".

According to the 2025 plan, KLH HAGL AGRICO Laos will continue to invest in more modern machinery and equipment to meet the increasing demand for grass harvesting, ensuring adequate supply of high-quality feed for cattle in expanded farming conditions.
