(Baothanhhoa.vn) - According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the number of tourists coming to Thanh Hoa during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year decreased sharply compared to the holiday in 2024. During the 4-day holiday (from August 30 to September 2), the whole province is estimated to welcome 65,000 visitors.

Pu Luong Community Ecotourism Area leads the number of visitors in the province during the holidays.

Right from the first day of the holiday, due to the impact of storms and rains, the number of visitors to tourist areas and spots in the province was limited, combined with the number of visitors canceling services. In particular, the event of the parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 in Hanoi attracted people from all over the country to watch. Therefore, the number of visitors to Thanh Hoa during this holiday is estimated to decrease by 83.6% compared to the National Day holiday in 2024.
