At Prenn Pass (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat) this afternoon, a large landslide continued to occur, forcing vehicles to stop traveling in both directions. The landslide was located in the middle of the pass, with a large amount of soil, rocks, trees and roots from the slope suddenly falling onto the road, estimated at dozens of cubic meters, causing complete blockage.

The stormy rain situation in Lam Dong continues to be complicated, due to the impact of prolonged rain and floods, combined with the release of floodwater to regulate water at reservoirs upstream in Lam Dong province, the rising water level downstream has flooded bridges and roads, affecting train operations on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City railway line.

Vietnam Railways Corporation said that in the Long Thanh - Song Luy section, the water level is 7 - 8cm above the rail surface at Km1520+800 - Km1521+000. From 8:30 this morning, the local infrastructure management unit has issued warnings and reduced train speed to 5 km/h through the area to ensure safety.

At the Ma Lam - Long Thanh section, the water rose strongly and flowed rapidly, causing flooding of the knees and girders of the Km1531+123 bridge. From 10:00 a.m., the unit blocked the Ma Lam - Long Thanh section, temporarily stopping trains passing through the area until safety conditions were met.

Since noon today, the railway industry has dispatched 4 freight cars with a load capacity of nearly 200 tons to guard the bridge to ensure safety for the project.

Currently, local units have organized 24/7 patrols at key points; continuously monitored and inspected bridges and roads; mobilized maximum human resources and equipment to be ready to fix problems as soon as conditions allow. Ensuring train safety is at the highest level.

During the temporary blockade, some trains may be delayed or have their routes adjusted; the railway will regularly update information on train operation status on the official railway channels for passengers to monitor and grasp.

The Department of Construction also provides specific instructions on traffic directions into the center of Da Lat during traffic regulation:

From Lien Khuong - Prenn Expressway, all vehicles are allowed to travel in both directions through Mimosa Pass before 4:00 p.m. on December 4.

Or from Lien Khuong - Prenn highway, vehicles (except trucks) can turn left onto Sacom pass - Tuyen Lam lake to move to the center of Da Lat and vice versa.

Third direction, from the center of Da Lat, vehicles can go to Van Thanh Flower Village, down Ta Nung Pass along Highway 725 to the Forest Gate Intersection, then turn left onto Highway 27 to reconnect with Lien Khuong - Prenn Expressway.
