On July 16, Lam Dong Provincial People's Council (term 2021 - 2026) passed a resolution on socio -economic development for the last 6 months of 2025.

Tourism with two major centers, Da Lat and Mui Ne - Phan Thiet, is determined to create a strong push, creating a breakthrough for the locality.

According to the resolution, Lam Dong will conduct a large-scale promotional campaign to bring the brand "Mui Ne - the resort capital" to the world, in order to realize the goal of welcoming over 18 million guests in 2025.

Priority tourism types include MICE (tourism combining conferences, seminars, exhibitions, events, etc.), high-end marine sports, health care, agriculture - ecology and culture - festivals.

In particular, the brands "Mui Ne - the resort capital" and "Da Lat - the miraculous crystallization from the good land" will be strongly promoted in key markets such as Japan, Korea, Europe and China.

Currently, tourism and services account for 40% of Lam Dong province's revenue structure after the merger.

The resolution also stated that Lam Dong will implement attractive tourism stimulus packages, in coordination with airlines, railways and travel agencies. Discount programs and service promotions are expected to increase length of stay, spending and satisfaction of tourists.

The province also promotes digital transformation, develops the night-time economy and encourages investment in large-scale entertainment areas and theme parks.

With this strategy, Lam Dong hopes to not only welcome visitors, but also keep them longer so they can fully explore local values, from the quiet pine forests in Da Lat, the blue sea of Mui Ne, to agricultural gardens and unique festivals.

Striving to collect 28,250 billion VND in budget

Lam Dong aims to achieve GRDP growth of over 8%, budget revenue of VND 28,250 billion, an increase of more than 20% compared to the estimate. To achieve the target, Lam Dong urgently assigned and allocated the budget estimate, and resolutely disbursed 100% of public investment capital by the end of January 2026.

To achieve the above targets, Lam Dong province has prioritized accelerating the implementation of strategic infrastructure projects such as Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong, Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh expressways, along with the Phan Thiet airport project and upgrading Lien Khuong international airport...

Renewable energy, irrigation, and industrial park projects are also being cleared of obstacles to put them into operation soon, promoting sustainable growth.
