The appearance of the main couple in the movie Bride-Sell Contract in traditional wedding costumes inspired by ancient costumes of the Le Trung Hung period (16th-18th century) received much attention.

On the evening of August 23, the crew of the film The Contract to Sell Strawberries held a media exchange. The cast of the film included: actresses Lam Thanh My, Huu Vi, Lanh Thanh, Le Tuyet Anh… and representatives of the production company were present.

When Lam Thanh My and Lanh Thanh appeared in bride and groom outfits and walked around the event area, they immediately received a lot of attention.

Unable to hide his excitement, Huu Vi - who plays the male lead in the film, said that this was the first time he had worn a groom's outfit. Although somewhat "shy", Huu Vi considered this quite new to himself. He also revealed that when his mother saw him wearing the outfit, she compared him to... Zhu Bajie.

In the film, Huu Vi collaborated for the first time with Lam Thanh My, who played the role of the bride. He called this a “painful experience” for the character and himself when filming with a female co-star who had an uncle-niece gap.

Huu Vi said that during the filming process, there was a certain distance between the two of them, which he did not know whether it was necessary to build the character or not. But the moment when he heard his co-star sing a lullaby in the film made him feel very special.

As for Lam Thanh My, she said that in real life she and her co-star Huu Vi do not get along. But she still tries hard and works happily to be able to complete the scenes well. According to the revelation, after innocent roles, for the first time she will have many emotional scenes with co-star Huu Vi.

The Bride Contract was filmed at the end of 2024 in extremely cold weather conditions. The film is set in many different locations in Hanoi and Ninh Binh. The crew admitted that, with a period project with a fairly high investment budget, they were lucky to receive a lot of support.

According to Mr. Nguyen Khac Trung, the film's marketing director, conveying traditional cultural values ​​​​into film is very difficult. He thanked screenwriter Bui Kim Quy for his creativity and efforts in adapting the literary work of the same name by writer Thuc Linh.

The Bride-Sell Contract is a spiritual and mysterious historical drama, revolving around the main character, Nhai, a young bride who marries into the Vu family and is accidentally caught up in a terrifying "contract" with the devil. The film scheduled to premiere on September 12.
