The first conference on artificial intelligence took place in Vietnam

The first GenAI Summit 2024 will be held in Vietnam. Accordingly, tomorrow (August 18th), GenAI Summit 2024 will open in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on key issues including the GenAI platform model, practical applications of GenAI, and opportunities for Vietnam.

The GenAI Summit 2024, themed "New Horizons," will feature Jeff Dean, Google's Chief Scientist and co-founder of Google Brain, Google Translate, Gemini, and many other products that have helped Google dominate the global technology industry.

The AI ​​Summit is an annual event organized by the New Turing Institute, starting in 2018, aimed at creating a platform to connect the domestic artificial intelligence community with experts worldwide .

After many years of successful organization, AI Summit has become a significant science and technology event with a prominent position in Southeast Asia.

The GenAI Summit 2024, the first of its kind in Vietnam, organized by the New Turing Institute (NTI) and Rethink Healthcare Foundation (RHF), was an international event that welcomed over 1,000 attendees, including leading experts shaping the future of AI, business tycoons, and pioneering intellectuals in AI research.

GenAI Summit 2024 will focus on three main themes: “GenAI’s Platform Model,” “GenAI’s Practical Applications,” and “Opportunities for Vietnam.”

In the "GenAI Foundation Model" section, speakers including professors, researchers, and scientists will share in-depth insights into the advanced technologies driving the development of LLM (Big Language Modeling).

In the "Practical Applications of GenAI" section, senior business leaders will discuss the transformative potential and applications of GenAI in healthcare, education, and social life.

The conference will conclude with the theme "Opportunities for Vietnam," where investors and leaders of major domestic and international AI corporations will discuss the impact of GenAI on Vietnam's technological and economic growth, as well as the opportunities and challenges Vietnam faces on its path to becoming one of the leading countries in AI.

The speaker list includes Dr. Jeff Dean, Google's Chief Scientific Officer; Dr. Luong Minh Thang, Senior Researcher and Senior Manager at Google DeepMind, co-founder of the New Turing Institute; and leader of Alpha Geometry, a silver medalist at the 2024 International Mathematical Olympiad. Other renowned AI speakers will share insights and guide guests in exploring the latest advancements, prominent trends, and limitless potential of generative artificial intelligence (AI).
