Effective dissemination of the Project on building a cultural and civilized lifestyle in Binh Duong

(BDO) On the morning of June 24, at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to summarize Project 02 "Mass mobilization work to participate in building a cultural and civilized lifestyle in Binh Duong province for the period 2021 - 2025". Comrade Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended and directed the conference.

After 5 years of implementation, Project 02 of the Provincial Party Committee on building a cultural and civilized lifestyle has achieved many outstanding results, creating a strong influence throughout society. Propaganda work has been promoted, contributing to raising awareness, self-awareness and sense of responsibility of people in maintaining environmental sanitation, urban beautification, and building green - clean - beautiful residential areas.

The whole province has upgraded 100% of the ward and hamlet offices (587/587); mobilized 98% of households to sign a commitment to practice a civilized lifestyle, of which 97% of households have done well. 95% of agencies, 19% of enterprises, 100% of supermarkets and 104.16% of markets have registered to meet cultural standards.

Binh Duong has built and renovated 117 parks, bringing the total to 352 parks and flower gardens; built 62 public toilets at markets, parks, and rest stops...

Along with that, emulation movements were widely deployed with the motto "The State and the people work together", attracting people to actively participate in building neighborhood offices, parks, model roads, installing security cameras, lighting, asphalting, concrete alleys...

In particular, the "Civilized Saturday" movement created a positive effect, taking place simultaneously with 10,989 sessions, attracting more than 574,000 participants; implementing 1,196 works with a total value of more than 211 billion VND...

In addition to the budget, the organization of "Civilized Saturday" also mobilized socialized resources of 15,838 billion VND and more than 15,000 working days, planting and caring for more than 1.1 million trees...

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Loc Ha praised the efforts, initiatives and results of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, socio- political organizations and people of the whole province in the process of implementing the Project. At the same time, he congratulated 49 collectives and 110 individuals who were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial Party Standing Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing Project 02. This is a worthy recognition for the persistent, effective and creative contributions of collectives and individuals to the overall development of the province in the past time.

Comrade Nguyen Loc Ha emphasized that after more than 5 years of implementation, Project 02 has created a clear change in awareness and action among cadres, party members and people in building a civilized, disciplined and affectionate lifestyle. Many "Smart Mass Mobilization" models have been effectively implemented, associated with building a cultural life in residential areas, protecting the environment, and behaving in a cultural manner in communication and at the workplace. Thereby, contributing to strengthening the spirit of solidarity, sense of community responsibility and building an increasingly green - clean - beautiful - safe living environment.

Through the implementation of the Project, Binh Duong has created a high social consensus in implementing urban development programs, infrastructure improvement, site clearance and many other important political tasks. Project 02 has truly contributed to changing the urban appearance, improving the quality of life, and creating a unique cultural feature of Binh Duong people.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department presented gifts to express gratitude to the district-level propaganda and mass mobilization cadres and civil servants.

At the conference, the Provincial Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to two individuals of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission for their achievements in work from 2019 to 2023, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Project 02, phase 2021-2025.
