The leaders of the Ministry of Public Security sent a letter of commendation, praising the outstanding achievements of the Lao Cai Provincial Police.

On September 11th, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, sent a letter of commendation to the Lao Cai Provincial Police praising their achievements in dismantling a high-tech crime ring that defrauded people through financial investment in the Heliwin cryptocurrency.

The content of the Letter of Commendation clearly states:

The Ministry of Public Security leadership was briefed: Recently, the Lao Cai Provincial Police have proactively coordinated with professional units of the Ministry and relevant local police forces to decisively and effectively implement operational plans and measures to detect and dismantle a high-tech crime ring that defrauded people through financial investment in the Heliwin cryptocurrency; arresting and prosecuting 13 individuals, and seizing and temporarily detaining money and assets worth approximately 440 billion VND. The investigation determined that the suspects had illegally profited 780 billion VND from nearly 40,000 people.

This is an outstanding achievement demonstrating the determination, high sense of responsibility, and professional acumen of the Lao Cai Provincial Police in implementing the directives of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security on preventing and combating organized crime and high-tech crime.

The results of the investigation and discovery of the case reflect the active and effective coordination between the local police and the professional units of the Ministry; contributing to deterring and preventing crime, stabilizing the security and order situation, and strengthening the people's trust and affection for the People's Police force.

On behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Lao Cai Provincial Police. The Deputy Minister requested that the Lao Cai Provincial Police continue to coordinate with relevant units and localities to investigate and expand the case, promptly consolidate documents and evidence to strictly prosecute the perpetrators in accordance with the law; and wished the Lao Cai Provincial Police continued success and even more outstanding achievements in their work and combat.
