Party and State leaders send congratulatory messages on Laos National Day

The telegram reads: “The Party, State and people of Vietnam always strongly and comprehensively support Laos's renovation and firmly believe that, continuing the tradition of previous generations and promoting the achievements, under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Government's management and the National Assembly's supervision, the Lao people will continue to gain many new and greater achievements in the renovation, successfully implementing the goals set out in the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the 9th Five-Year Socio-Economic Development Plan; successfully building a peaceful , independent, democratic, unified and prosperous Laos according to the socialist goal.

We are extremely pleased to see that, along with the achievements of the two Parties, two States and peoples in the past, the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos founded, forged and nurtured by the great President Ho Chi Minh and President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Souphanouvong, and nurtured by generations of leaders of the two Parties, two countries and peoples, has been continuously consolidated and developed, becoming increasingly deeper, practical and effective in all fields, actively contributing to the cause of innovation, national construction and protection in each country.

We will do our utmost together with the Lao Party, State and people to preserve, protect and foster the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos to develop to new heights, for the benefit of the people of each country, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world .

On this occasion, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission Le Hoai Trung sent a congratulatory message to Member of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission Thongsavanh Phomvihane. Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son sent a congratulatory message to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Saleumxay Kommasith.
