At the meeting, the leaders of Duy Xuyen and Nong Cong districts reviewed the tradition of solidarity and closeness since the twinning. Whether in fierce war, hardship or in peace , the two localities have always shared the ups and downs, encouraged and supported each other to develop and build their homeland.
The leaders of the two districts also gave an overview of the local socio -economic situation in recent times and expressed their joy at the changes in the two localities every day; wishing to continue to foster the Nong Cong - Duy Xuyen relationship to become increasingly strong and develop steadily.
On this occasion, at the Center for Culture - Information - Sports and Tourism of Nong Cong district, there was a Trade Promotion Festival, displaying and introducing typical OCOP products of Nong Cong and Duy Xuyen districts. The Center for Culture - Information - Sports and Tourism of Duy Xuyen district also organized 2 nights of singing Bai Choi to serve the people of Nong Cong district.
* On the evening of June 1, at the Center for Culture - Information - Sports and Tourism of Nong Cong district, the People's Committee of Nong Cong district organized the cultural and artistic exchange program "Duy Xuyen - Nong Cong: Loyalty and affection, accompanying development".
At the program, on behalf of the officials and people of Duy Xuyen district, Mr. Phan Xuan Canh - Chairman of the District People's Committee awarded 5 billion VND to support Nong Cong district to build cultural works.
