According to the report, the contractor has completed 97% of the technical trenches, sidewalk upgrades and renovations; over 97% of the drainage and wastewater systems; and 40% of the asphalt road surface. The unit is currently relocating the electrical, lighting, and telecommunications systems; and is committed to completing the entire project before November 10, 2025.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Huyen requested the Provincial Development Project Management Board to direct the contractor to organize construction day and night, ensuring progress and quality. The Nha Trang Ward People's Committee was assigned to impose fines if the construction unit continues to delay. During the construction process, the contractor must ensure traffic safety, urban aesthetics, handle dangerous locations, and reduce the frustration of people along the route.

Previously, SGGP Newspaper reported the slow construction, scattered materials, and potential safety risks at this project. Some motorcyclists slipped and fell while passing through the unfinished project, fortunately not in danger of their lives.
On September 8, Nha Trang Ward People's Committee fined Khanh Anh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company 12 million VND for constructing on an operating road without installing warning signs and barriers as prescribed; required to fix the problem and ensure safety during the construction process.
The project "Upgrading, renovating sidewalks and constructing new underground technical infrastructure works for shared use on Le Thanh Ton Street" (abbreviated as Le Thanh Ton Street improvement project) is about 1km long, in the center of Nha Trang ward, starting from February 2025, construction time 180 days, according to the contract to be completed on August 20, 2025.
The project, invested by the Nha Trang City Construction Project Management Board, has now been transferred to the Khanh Hoa Province Development Project Management Board with a total capital of more than 30.4 billion VND.
