Lao Cai: Policy to change forest use to other purposes

CTTĐT - On October 16, 2025, the Provincial People's Council issued Resolution No. 28/NQ-HDND on the Policy of converting forest use to other purposes.

Total forest area converted to production forest is 14,473 hectares.

According to the Resolution, there are 3 projects (Road Project from the center of Nghia Son commune to the intersection of Noong Khoang village, Nghia Son commune, Van Chan district, Yen Bai province; Investment project to build technical infrastructure of the Southern Industrial Park, Yen Bai province;

The investment project to build Highway 156, Ban Vuoc - Ngoi Phat section (Km12+000-Km17+000)) has changed the purpose of forest use to another purpose.

Total forest area converted to production forest is 14,473 hectares.
