Boxing with big rewards
Accordingly, the specific reward levels for boxing are: 1,000 USD (more than 26 million VND) for gold medal, 300 USD (nearly 8 million VND) for silver medal and 5 million VND for bronze medal.
This is a sponsorship from the IVS Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam International School System under the management of Mr. Pham Quang Long, currently holding the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Boxing Federation.
Mr. Vu Duc Thinh, former head of the Boxing Department - Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Department, announced that he would reward 500 USD (more than 13 million VND) for each athlete who won a gold medal. Meanwhile, former athlete Truong Dinh Hoang also offered a reward of 10 million VND for each gold medal.
The Vietnam Boxing team will leave for Thailand to participate in the SEA Games on December 8. Under the guidance of coaches Nguyen Nhu Cuong, Huynh Viet Khanh and Pham Thanh Hai, the Vietnam Boxing team aims to win at least 1 gold medal.
Vietnam Boxing team athletes include: Ha Thi Linh, Vo Thi Kim Anh, Hoang Thi Ngoc Mai, Ngo Ngoc Linh Chi, Nguyen Huyen Tran, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tran, Nguyen Minh Cuong, Nguyen Van Duong, Nguyen Linh Phung, Bui Phuoc Tung, Tran Quang Loc, Nguyen Manh Cuong and Nguyen Duc Ngoc.

Kickboxing is not far behind.
President of the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation, Mr. Vu Duc Thinh, announced the bonus applied to athletes winning gold medals is 500 USD (more than 13 million VND) for gold medals; 300 USD (nearly 8 million VND) for silver medals and 200 USD (more than 5 million VND) for bronze medals.
The Vietnamese Kickboxing team includes the following fighters: Trieu Thi Phuong Thuy, Hoang Thi Thuy Giang, Bui Thi Yen Nhi, Nguyen Quang Huy, Nguyen Dinh Thai, Nguyen Dinh Minh Khue, Hoang Gia Dai, and Duong Danh Hoat. The team aims to win 1 gold medal at this year's congress.
At the 32nd SEA Games, Vietnamese Kickboxing made a strong impression by winning 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 7 bronze medals. However, entering the 33rd SEA Games, host Thailand only organized 8 competitions.
This forced the coaching staff to restructure their team and select the most suitable weight classes to register. According to the plan, the Vietnamese Kickboxing team will leave for Thailand on December 11.
Thailand is a real power in Southeast Asia in martial arts, so competing for high achievements at the SEA Games in the Land of the Golden Pagoda will certainly be very difficult for the two Vietnamese Boxing and Kickboxing teams.
