The Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic supports nearly 2.2 billion VND to help Dak Lak overcome the consequences of floods.

On the morning of December 9, a relief delegation from the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic visited and presented gifts to support people in Dak Lak province affected by the recent floods.

In Binh Kien and Hoa Hiep wards, the delegation directly presented a total of 500 gifts, 250 for each locality, each worth 2 million VND, to help affected households quickly overcome immediate difficulties.

The Association also donated 385 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Hiep and Binh Kien wards to support families in especially difficult circumstances.

In addition, the delegation also supported the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province with 370 million VND and transferred 440 million VND to Hoa Son and Hoa Xuan communes (220 million VND each) to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters. The total support budget for Dak Lak province this time is nearly 2.2 billion VND.

Representatives of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic expressed sympathy for the losses of the people and hoped that the support would help people soon stabilize their lives after the floods.
