Fishermen continuously hit the jackpot with seafood, earning tens of millions of dong per trip out to sea.

According to the leader of the People's Committee of Ky Ninh commune, the whole commune currently has about 226 boats with capacity from 12CV to 350CV, of which dozens of boats are fishing about 2.5km to more than 3km from shore. "For many days now, thanks to favorable weather and calm seas, many fishermen in the area have gone out to sea to fish and have continuously had big catches of anchovies. On average, each boat catches 1-2 tons per day, some boats catch 3 tons to more than 4 tons," the commune leader added.
