Many private schools in Hanoi have announced their enrollment plans for 10th grade in the 2025-2026 school year so that parents and candidates can proactively register for admission.
Ly Thai To Junior and Senior High School is recruiting 480 students for the 10th grade in the 2025-2026 school year. The school has four class models: international English class, high-quality class, science-oriented class, and humanities-oriented class. The maximum number of students per class is 40.
The school accepts applications from December 10th to February 21st, 2025. The results will be announced on February 24th, 2025. The application fee is 800,000 VND per student.

Hoang Mai Star High School announces the enrollment of 350 students for the 10th grade in the 2025-2026 school year. Registration begins on December 2nd and continues until the quota is filled. The registration fee for the 10th grade is 500,000 VND per student.
According to the announcement, the school has four admission methods, including: direct admission, aptitude test, admission based on the results of the entrance exam to specialized high schools, and admission based on the results of the 10th grade entrance exam to public schools organized by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
Specifically, the school offers direct admission to students who have won first, second, or third prize in the 9th grade student excellence competition in Mathematics, Literature, English, Natural Sciences , and Informatics at the district/county level or higher; achieved awards equivalent to first prize or gold medal in sports or arts at the city level or higher; and maintained excellent student status for four consecutive years at the lower secondary level.
The direct admission process will take place from December 2024 to February 2025. Applicants must have a letter of recommendation from a teacher and a personal essay in either Vietnamese or English.
Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School will accept applications for admission to grade 10 from December 9th for students currently in grade 9 at the school and from March 17th, 2025 for students from other schools for class 10AE (Advanced Academic English class).
The school has one more application period in July 2025, for students applying with the results of the 10th grade public school entrance exam organized by the Department of Education and Training.
In addition to prioritizing students currently studying at the school, the school also prioritizes other groups, including: students with Cambridge English, IELTS, SAT, and AP certificates exceeding their age-appropriate level; students with other international certificates certified by universities and reputable international organizations recognized by the Quality Assurance Department of the Ministry of Education and Training ; outstanding students at the district, city, and national levels; and students who have won awards in arts and sports.
Newton High School and Viet-Australian School have also opened registration for 10th grade admissions for the 2025-2026 school year on their systems. Parents and students can access the school's registration link to fill in their information and preferences.
Doan Thi Diem High School announces the release of application forms for 10th grade admissions starting February 18, 2025. Parents and students can register online or in person at the school office.
Le Quy Don Secondary and High School announces the recruitment of 240 students for grade 10 through the selection method based on secondary school academic records. The school will release application forms starting February 17, 2025. The registration period consists of two phases: from February 17 to June 21, 2025, and from June 30 to July 20, 2025 (if there are still vacancies).
For the 2025-2026 academic year, Phenikaa Inter-level High School will be enrolling students in grade 10 for two training programs: the standard program and the high-quality program. The school has not yet announced the date for the application review or the enrollment quota.
The Vinschool education system has officially opened registration for the 2025-2026 school year, from preschool to high school. Currently, there are no specific enrollment quotas for grade 10 at each school within the system in Hanoi.
