LONG HO: 1,242 agricultural production models with high economic efficiency

Long Ho district currently has 1,242 agricultural production models with profits of 150 million VND/year or more, an increase of more than 200 models compared to 2020. Production profits from the models increased by 50-60 million VND/ha/year. Of which, there are 431 production models with profits of 170-200 million VND/year, evenly distributed in all communes and towns.

To increase profits per unit area, farmers in the district have applied science and technology to production, boldly choosing new plant and animal varieties suitable for the soil and actual conditions in each locality.

Currently, the District Farmers' Association is focusing on doing a good job of propaganda and mobilizing members and farmers to actively restructure the agricultural sector; shifting economic structure, maintaining advanced comprehensive economic models to create quality products, ensuring consumer health, reducing investment costs, increasing income, and improving the lives of members and farmers.
