On the evening of May 2, the train carrying Working Group No. 4 of officers and soldiers completing the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification departed from Bien Hoa Station (Dong Nai).

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), Head of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee, led the delegation. Accompanying him were heads of functional departments of the Vietnam People's Army General Staff, the Vietnam People's Army General Department of Politics , the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, and Military Region 2.
Leaders of Military Region 7 presented flowers to Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of Delegation No. 4.
Youth Union members and people joyfully welcomed the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and the working delegation at Bien Hoa station.

At Bien Hoa station ( Dong Nai ), the farewell ceremony for the forces returning to the North after completing their mission at the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification took place in a solemn, emotional atmosphere, full of love, showing the precious hearts of the Party Committee, government and people of the South and the officers and soldiers of Military Region 7 for the forces.
The parade force of Military Region 2 and other units were welcomed by the people when they arrived at Bien Hoa station.

At the farewell ceremony, leaders of Military Region 7, leaders of Dong Nai province and people presented flowers and many gifts to the officers and soldiers, expressing gratitude for their efforts in training and the contributions of the parade forces to the success of the celebration.

At exactly 10:15 p.m., the train carrying the parade force left Bien Hoa station. People on both sides of the train station stood waving and saying goodbye to the forces in a solemn and friendly atmosphere. The sincere feelings of the Southern people seemed to add more confidence and pride to the officers and soldiers of the agencies and units on their return journey.
