In Tra Tap commune, Chairman of the People's Committee Le Trung Thuc said that through on-site inspection, the locality recorded landslides at a number of residential areas, schools, and roads in the area.
Specifically, Route 3 (from Tra Tap to the old Tra Cang commune) was eroded and cut off by the mass of soil and rock from the positive slope flowing onto the road surface. The local authorities mobilized forces to inspect and promptly warn the people.

In Nam Tra My commune, a landslide appeared on National Highway 40B through the 5-storey Waterfall area, with a large amount of rock and soil from the positive slope sliding down onto the road surface.
According to initial statistics, there are currently dozens of landslide spots in the communes of Nam Tra My, Tra Tap, and Tra Linh, of which Nam Tra My commune alone has more than 10 spots at high risk of landslides.

Local authorities recommend that people absolutely do not move through this area before authorities arrange vehicles to clear the area to ensure safety.
Particularly at Km84+700 on National Highway 14E (in Hiep Duc Commune), heavy rains over the past few days have caused serious landslides, with mud and trees spilling onto the road, completely blocking traffic and making it impossible for vehicles to pass. This area is still at risk of further landslides due to prolonged heavy rain.
