Exporting 1,000 - 5,000 tons of green coffee to India each year

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, India is one of the 10 largest coffee bean export markets of Lam Dong province. Of which, 1,000 tons will be exported from 2021, increasing to 2,000 tons in 2022 and 5,000 tons in 2023.

Previously, data at the end of 2023 showed that India imported from Lam Dong with a turnover of alumina (71.36 million USD); raw silk (56.77 million USD); coffee (4.19 million USD); fresh flowers (0.02 million USD). By the first 9 months of 2024, India imported coffee from Lam Dong with a total value of about 12.06 million USD, 3 times higher than in 2023.

In the coming time, Lam Dong Department of Agriculture and Environment will continue to connect and trade with Indian enterprises to promote the export of silk products, coffee, vegetables, fruits, artichoke medicinal herbs, tea, cordyceps mushrooms, especially products certified with Halal standards.
