MoneyGram cooperates with Agribank to expand global money transfer network in Vietnam

MoneyGram - the leading global payment network for individuals, businesses and communities has just announced a partnership with Agribank - one of the largest commercial banks in Vietnam. Through this partnership, MoneyGram customers worldwide can now send money to Vietnam for their loved ones to receive at any of Agribank's 3,000 transaction points nationwide.

Senders can make money transfers via MoneyGram Online – the MoneyGram mobile app or website – or by visiting any of MoneyGram's more than 450,000 locations across 200 countries and territories. Recipients in Vietnam can easily receive money at any Agribank location.

According to Vietnam News, an estimated $16 billion in remittances were sent to Vietnam in 2024.

“We are delighted to partner with Agribank in Vietnam to further expand our global network and enhance service accessibility for our customers and the community,” shared Vijay Raj Poduval, Regional Director for Southeast Asia and Indochina at MoneyGram. He expressed his expectation that with Agribank’s extensive network in Vietnam, the company can serve even more customers with money sending and receiving needs.

This partnership expands MoneyGram's physical presence in Vietnam, adding thousands of retail merchant locations to the MoneyGram ecosystem and further strengthening its ability to provide fast, secure, and reliable international money transfer services.
