Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trong Dat, Chief of Le Thanh Nghi Ward Police ( Hai Phong City Police), said that the authorities have received a report that Ms. NTT (born in 1985, residing on Do Quang Street, Le Thanh Nghi Ward, Hai Phong City) is in critical condition with a poor prognosis after treatment at a cosmetic center.

Mr. VCC (a relative of Ms. NTT) said that at about 4:00 p.m. on July 2, Mr. C received a phone call from the family informing him that Ms. NTT was in the emergency room at Hai Duong General Hospital.

At the hospital, he was informed by the doctors that Ms. NTT was in critical condition, with pulmonary embolism, high heart enzymes, and needed to be transferred to a higher-level hospital for treatment.

Mr. C added that at that time, Ms. T's husband and the owner of the beauty salon were present at the hospital. Through observation, the family discovered that Ms. T's chest had many purple marks that looked like needle marks.

According to Ms. T's family and the owner of the beauty salon, at around 10:00 a.m. on July 2, Ms. T contacted the owner of the Beauty Therapy facility, MELIZA High-Tech Beauty Training Center at 484 Nguyen Van Linh (Le Thanh Nghi Ward, Hai Phong City) and said she was having chest pain and needed to go to the facility for treatment.

When Ms. T arrived, the owner of the facility had the staff perform treatments such as massage, acupressure and perform some procedures to remove fillers from Ms. T's breasts. (About 2 years ago, Ms. T had undergone filler injections for breast augmentation).

After the procedure, Ms. NTT fainted. The owner and staff took her to the Hai Duong General Hospital for emergency treatment. However, due to Ms. T's condition continuously worsening, her family took her to the Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi for emergency treatment.

Currently, Ms. T is being actively treated by doctors at Bach Mai Hospital using circulatory support and artificial respiration to replace the heart and lungs (ECMO), but the prognosis is very poor.

About 7 years ago, Ms. NTT worked in Korea and regularly spent time taking care of her health and beauty.

Le Thanh Nghi Ward Police are coordinating with professional units of Hai Phong City Police to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident./.
