Earlier that morning, heavy rain caused widespread flooding in Hiep Thanh commune.
Water from upstream flooded K'ren, K'Long and Tan An villages, Hiep Thanh commune, isolating many households.


On National Highway 20, the section passing through Hiep Thanh commune was also severely flooded due to heavy rain. In the early morning of September 6th, vehicles were unable to pass through the area.


The People's Committee of Hiep Thanh commune mobilized more than 50 people, including militia, police, military, and other forces, to assist residents in relocating from the flooded area.
In addition, the fire department also mobilized about 6 boats to assist people in relocating to safe areas.
Initial reports indicate that in Hiep Thanh commune, 5 villages were flooded, affecting approximately 500 households.
Authorities are still working diligently in the affected areas, continuing to assist people in overcoming the consequences and stabilizing their lives after the floods.


Earlier that same day, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, was also actively implementing measures to mitigate the consequences of the heavy rains in the area.
Preliminary statistics show that the rain on the night of September 5th caused the walls of three houses in alley 27, An Binh street to collapse.
In Thai Lam alley, rain also caused traffic subsidence.


Local authorities are currently assessing the damage caused by the heavy rains.
